- Write from the perspective of an object (object will be provided for everyone to write about)
- After: Choose a style of poetry day!
- Click on this link to Shadow Poetry and look at several different styles
- Choose one to learn more about
- Write a poem in this style
- Then: Small group share-out of poetry styles
- Fold the next page of your INB in half.
- Title it Poetry Types.
- Label the left column Type. Label the right column Explanation.
- write as much as you can about each type as you listen.
- During: Individual student-teacher meetings about project ideas
