  1. Do Now: Title today's journal entry "Etiam capillus unus habet umbram" (Literally, even one hair has a shadow). In the time provided, respond to the prompt. Remember, this is about warming-up our minds. Write for the ENTIRE TIME! Don't forget today's date on each page.
  2. After: Scheduled work-time for Major Project #1 (30 minutes).
  3. Then: Read and consider the article linked here, and stop at 'recommended reading.'
  4. During: Individual meetings to review first major project.

  • Complete the activity in the article you read in class today in your composition book by Thursday's class.

  1. Do Now: What have you learned about the medium you chose for your MP #1? A medium is the format you chose to tell your story: poem, personal narrative, short story, fan fiction, script, song, etc. If you cannot answer this question, then write about the medium. Why did you choose it? What do you still need to learn? How will you learn it?
  2. After: Scheduled work-time for Major Project #1 (60 minutes).
  3. During: Individual meetings to review first major project.
  4. Reminder: Turn-in MP #1 by 2:15 on Friday.
