Monday, December 2
Due Today: Chosen Poem, Story, Warm-up
Classwork
- Do Now: 7 minute writing warm-up: letter to a six-year-old you.
- Think in terms that a six-year-old would understand.
- After: Share the winning format with everyone and begin choosing who gets to include what.
- Then: Teams decide editing duties for the week
- Team Spartan: Spencer and Trevor
- Team Jedi: Franco and Ana
- After: Who will lead the writing warm-up on Wednesday and Friday?
- Each week, two of the warm-ups will be lead by students
Homework
- Major Project #2: Publication Revision. Make sure you know which section(s) you are responsible for having a writing piece. If there are any major revisions, they should happen BEFORE you place it in the group file. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation will be reviewed by the group after all of the pieces are in place.
- Take some pictures! What is a magazine without pictures? It would be good to have at least one picture from each person. At the very least, we need a headshot from each person to include in the bio section.
